Adel Ghafan Saeed is the Executive Director of Technical Service Department at DAFZA. He was born on 1963 in Dubai, graduated in 1989 from UAE University in Al Ain - Faculty of Engineering. He started his work at the Dubai Municipality on the 1^st of August 1989 as an Architect responsible for providing constructions consultants and owners with planning regulations and land use of plot coverage and also for checking the engineering drawings submitted for licensing through the Building Licensing Committee at the Buildings and Housing Department.

He became the Head of Execution Planning Section at the Planning Department on the 21st of July 1995 to supervise and follow up the work of that section which is in charge of planning regulations, verification and licensing the various usage of buildings, distribution and compensation of plots of various usages and issuing approvals to install services in the government properties.

He joined Dubai Airport Free Zone on the 15^th of July 2000 as the Director of Engineering Department in charge of supervising the Free Zone buildings and general services, and to provide maintenance required to the Free Zone buildings by nominating technical work teams alongside consultants and contractors for design and supervision. In 2007 he became Executive Director of Technical Department at Dubai Airport Free Zone.
