Can I have a 24 hours access to my office without complications of security procedures?
Yes, you can for we provide a 24 hours access to employees within DAFZA without any complications regarding security procedures.
Would DAFZA assist us with getting information on living in Dubai?
DAFZA gives always the best assistance in guiding new residents in Dubai to settle in and point to them the best facilities, hotels, restaurants and other information about other authorities and how to contact them.
Can our company have more than one facility? For instance, office lands or warehouse?
Yes, your company can have all of these facilities and the size you want as long as it is above the minimum and it is available.
Would there be any restriction against adding a mezanine floor to my existing warehouse (LIU)?
Your company is free to add a new mezanine to its warehouse.
Will DAFZA allow any kind of manufacturing?
No, because since DAFZA is in the heart of the city and close to residential area it will only attract the environmentally friendly companies that are not involved in any hazardous chemicals or that the manufacturing process results in any kind of pollution.
Can I have a General Trading license?
No, DAFZA require the activities to be specified.
Can I sponsor my family?
Yes, after you have your residence visa. (Minimum Salary wage requirement Dh. 3,500 for the employee who wants to get his family in the country).
How do I clear the goods if I need to re-export goods?
The best recommendation is to go to DAFZA's customs authority.
How do I get my postal code?
All registration of opening a new postal code and receiving the mail will be provded within DAFZA.
Can I travel from one emirate to another with my resident's permit?
Yes, in UAE there is no restriction against traveling between emirates.
